You experience moments of
inner peace.
And yet you keep hitting those
lost again in daily life.

You experience moments of
inner peace.
And yet you keep hitting those
lost again in daily life.

You resolve to stay calm, but in a conversation something happens and you still react differently than you wanted.

Later, the conversation comes back to your mind.

What you could have said better. What you actually wanted to do.

Your attention again goes to your thoughts.

While the moment itself is long gone.

I also recognized this in my own life.

I could experience stillness and peace, but noticed how quickly they disappeared again as soon as something didn't go the way I wanted it to.

When my Internet was down, or when my KLM work schedule was not to my liking.

It frustrated me that I could not experience that stillness and peace permanently.

I thought I just needed to learn to meditate even better.

I went on a 6-month retreat with my Ishaya teacher in Mexico, where I spent between 10 and 15 hours daily in meditation.

I experienced there for the first time that I could experience happiness, joy and peace regardless of the circumstances.

Now I experience a foundation of inner peace.

Sometimes I am stressed, emotional or frustrated about something, but no matter what happens in my life, it is as if I always fall back on a soft mattress.

This is exactly where I guide people.

You don't have to do it alone.

Should you find it interesting, you can here yet to see what training and education I have done.
