You need so much from yourself. Healthy eating, exercise, career and a fun social life. The pace is fast, your head is crowded and you constantly feel like you are running out of time. You want more peace in your life, but you can't seem to escape the rat race. Seeking rest often adds stress to our lives, because what really brings peace and how can you integrate peace into your busy life? We are so used to looking outside ourselves for solutions, overlooking the fact that the solution is very close at hand. Peace, happiness and joy come from the same inner source as your creativity, passion and intuition. It is not something you have to look for, something you have to put together or improve. It is always there in its purest form.  The reason you don't experience this is because you think peace comes about when you have done something, changed something or maybe when it's allowed by yourself, instead of it always being there.  Your attention is in things that are constantly changing; you try to manage your relationship, your work, your friends, your schedule, your money, etc. in such a way that things go the way you like in order to experience peace. By shifting your attention to your inner source that is unchanging, you experience more love, happiness and inner peace. The mind can be quite chaotic and demand your attention, but you can choose where to give your attention each time.  And what you give attention to, grows. It is possible to do a lot of work with joy and energy while at the same time being at peace and confident. What is needed for this is a connection to your inner source. Inner peace, happiness and joy is your natural state of being.
