'It can't be done' you won't hear Laura say anytime soon. When she wants something, she goes for it, right now it is a training course she would like to take. The will is definitely there, only the finances are not sufficient for her to do it at the moment. Laura is very committed, so she is wondering how she can make it possible at this time.
By relaxing, she tried to find the solution. When after some time no solution was forthcoming, a slight irritation, impatience and despair arose in her. "Why am I not getting answers? She wondered if she was doing it right, or if it just wasn't working for her. "If you can find the answers within yourself, why isn't it working for me?", Laura then asked me.
"It does work, you just forgot something else," I said. I will explain it to you. You did it very well. When you connect with the peace within yourself, you break free from chaotic thinking, which increases your creative ability and intuition. This allows you to better perceive the signals and/or opportunities that come along.
However, if you have an expectation about when and what brilliant idea should come, you disrupt the creative process. For this expectation comes from the mind and not from your real self. Just as, for example, an artist knows that the creative process stops the moment he/she starts thinking about his/her actions. So the trick is to think to yourself without expectation. Be open and receptive to what is coming.
But that's not all, action is also needed. Staying anchored with the peace and quiet within yourself ensures that you have the ability to discern what real opportunities are for you, without the mind distracting you with thoughts such as: "is this right?" or "that will never work for me. It's up to you to then act and actually take the opportunities.
Imagine you are in a large, square corridor in a castle, with all around you all closed doors. You can sit quietly and connect with yourself and then wait to see which door opens for you, but that is a passive attitude. It is better to take action from your real self: your intuition indicates which door you can open and then you take action.
And what if the door doesn't open (= the plan you had doesn't give the desired result)? If the door won't open, or laboriously, you push against it. And a little harder, just until you've done everything you can. If it really doesn't work, you look for the next door. If a door does open, but there is seemingly nothing for you to find, do check that you have looked at all the nooks and crannies, sometimes a diamond lies hidden.
We are not here to wait for the Universe to do us a favor. You yourself are a source of creativity. What is needed is to connect with it and then take action. You get directions when you undergo, put things in motion. A TomTom does not give you directions if you stand still on the road, but it does if you move.
I took Laura's money-issue as an example because more people experience this. However, the combination "go inward and then take action" is also applicable for something else you would like, but which seems impossible for you. Have no expectation of when it should be done, or what the solution should be. Your task is to go within and then take focused action.
Dedication to that which you love also works wonders.
